Real Questions, Real Answers

Every worry,answered.

Six years of pet sitting taught me the questions that keep owners awake at 2 a.m. Here's what I'd want to know.

Asked by 7 in 10 clients

Medication Care

"What if my dog needs medication at 10 p.m.?"

Evening medication is routine, not an exception.

Insulin shots, thyroid pills, ear drops, twice-daily antibiotics — I've administered them all. Before your first trip, we do a full care walkthrough: I learn your pet's schedule, dosage, and quirks. The 10 p.m. insulin shot becomes just another part of the evening routine, logged and photographed so you can sleep easy over the Atlantic.

Multi-Pet Homes

"Can you handle two cats who hate each other?"

Separate feeding, separate affection — I keep the peace.

Multi-pet households with complicated dynamics are my specialty. I've navigated cats who hiss from opposite ends of the hallway, dogs who can't share a water bowl, and one memorable rabbit who had strong opinions about the family's terrier. During our meet-and-greet, we map out each pet's territory, triggers, and safe zones. Your household dynamic stays intact.

Emergency Protocol

"What happens if there's a vet emergency?"

Your vet is already in my contacts before you board.

We exchange your vet's number, your preferred emergency clinic, and a signed emergency authorization form during setup. If something urgent happens — a sudden limp, labored breathing, unusual lethargy — I call your vet first, then you. I've navigated a Saturday night ER visit for a Labrador who ate a sock. Your pet won't wait for you to land.

The real question underneath every booking

Trust & Safety

"How do I know I can trust someone with a key to my home?"

Background-checked, insured, and vouched for by your neighbors.

I'm fully background-checked and carry liability insurance. More importantly, I've been caring for pets in this neighborhood for six years — chances are your next-door neighbor has my number. References are available on request, and every new client gets a no-commitment meet-and-greet so you can watch how I interact with your pet before any key changes hands. Trust is earned visit by visit.

What families say

"

"We booked a last-minute Thanksgiving flight and I was terrified. She sent me a photo of Biscuit asleep on the couch at 9 p.m. — exactly where he belongs. First trip I haven't spent anxious."

"We leave for Scottsdale every November. Keeper has our house key, the vet's number, and Mango's entire insulin schedule. Four months of care, zero surprises. She texts more than my kids do."

"First time leaving Luna for more than 4 hours. I cried at the airport. Then she sent a video of Luna doing zoomies in the backyard and I laughed the whole flight. Completely changed how I travel."

Holiday Season Reality

Seasonal booking isn't optional — it's preparation.

Four complications that catch families off guard every single holiday season. None of them are emergencies if you plan ahead.

📋01

Boarding kennel waitlists fill in October

Most facilities in the area stop accepting Thanksgiving and Christmas reservations by late October. By the time you're searching in November, you're already choosing between kennels you'd never normally consider.

Deadline: Book by Oct 31 for November travel
🎆02

Fireworks anxiety peaks December 31

New Year's Eve is statistically the highest night for lost pets. Dogs with noise anxiety need a familiar home, a familiar face, and sometimes a vet-prescribed sedative. A pet in an unfamiliar kennel on that night is a pet in distress.

💊03

Winter medication schedules are unforgiving

Diabetic pets, senior cats on thyroid medication, dogs with twice-daily joint supplements — winter schedules don't pause for the holidays. A last-minute scramble to find someone who can give a subcutaneous injection is not a situation you want to be in at 7 p.m. on December 23rd.

🌡️04

Cold weather adds complexity

Short-haired breeds, elderly dogs, and outdoor cats need adjusted routines in winter. Water bowls freeze. Paw care matters. A sitter who knows your pet's cold-weather needs before you leave is worth every penny.

The window is closing.

Holiday spots fill every year. The families who booked last October aren't worried right now.
